Opposition leaders have filed complaints to the independent policing oversight authority, demanding urgent investigations and action following what they termed as attacks by police. The leaders led by DAP-K leader Eugene Wamalwa called out the police for using force to disperse opposition gatherings, leading to injuries. The leaders cited Sunday's clash, in which police blocked them in Murang'a.
