    Student leaders from tertiary institutions in Mombasa are demanding action from the government to solve the puzzle of higher education funding. They say that the current module of allocation of funds is incoherent with the needs of students. Speaking during a press briefing in Mombasa, Justus Kimutai Koech, President of Kenya Coast National Polytechnic (KCNP), said the government should heed the demands of the students, highlighting the pains of the cost of fees and upkeep, which have become unsustainable.
