Education CS Migos Ogamba has assured parents that HELB will sufficiently cater for all students joining university in September. The CS says the government will secure supplementary funding for HELB to ensure that the board is able to meet the financial obligations in order to allow all students to join their respective universities. The government has also justified the university fee reduction and disputed claims that the reduction will disadvantage debt-laden universities, arguing that the fee reduction will lead to increased enrollments. The CS spoke at the University of Nairobi, where he inaugurated the new University Council.
