Eight people have died and scores of others have been seriously injured in a road accident involving a bus and a train near Morendat farm in Naivasha, Nakuru county. The accident occurred after the driver of the Kenya Pipeline Company bus crossed the railway with an oncoming train nearby, which hit the bus, dragging it over 200 metres away from the scene. All those who died and who were traveling in the bus are believed to be employees of a company who were on their way home when the accident happened.
