Statehouse splashes Millions as thousands of Nairobi Youth were hosted at State House Nairobi

President William Ruto’s administration pumped millions of shillings into the Nairobi youth economic empowerment programme held at state house Nairobi today and attended by thousands of young people who received start-up equipment for their businesses with an estimated half a billion shillings spent on motorbikes and plastic chairs alone. Serious questions are emerging over the source of these funds, with parliament yet to approve any specific budget allocation for the programme. In Siaya former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has reiterated his stand that supporting President William Ruto was a necessary compromise.
