Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has cut short his scheduled two-month-long tour of the United States, for what he says is the need for him to prepare his Democracy for the Citizens Party for the upcoming By-Elections. The party, which has declared its intent to front candidates in the 27 by-elections scheduled for November this year, has seen Gachagua reschedule his tour of the remaining states to early next year. And as Kamau Mwangi reports, his return comes amidst fears by his party that he will be arrested upon setting foot in the country, over allegations that the Kenyan Government has had “business dealings” with the Terror group Al-Shabaab.
