The 22nd edition of the Federation of Eastern African Schools Sports Association Games kicked off today in Kakamega with several matches played in various venues. In the girls’ football match played at the Kakamega School, Madira girls of Kenya were held to a barren draw by kawempe muslim of Uganda. In the second match, Kenya champions Butere Girls shared spoils in a barren draw against Amusi College of Uganda. At the Kakamega approved school, Budo of Uganda beat defending champions Amusi College, also of Uganda 1-0. Activities were in top gear at the Bukhungu Stadium as President William Ruto is expected to officially open the games tomorrow.
