Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua returned to the country on Thursday afternoon after a month and 12 days touring the United States. He was met with an overwhelming reception from hundreds of supporters at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. However, his arrival was marked by confusion. Supporters had gathered outside the VIP lounge, expecting him to emerge through the dignitaries’ exit. Instead, Gachagua appeared from the general international arrivals section, prompting speculation among his close allies that his exit route may have been deliberately changed.
