Former Nairobi Governor Gideon Mbuvi, popularly known as Mike Sonko has moved to the continental sports tribunal in Cairo, Egypt, to contest Kenya’s exit from the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) after losing to Madagascar in the quarterfinals. In his petition, Sonko alleges bias and misconduct by the referees, claiming two legitimate goals for Kenya were wrongfully disallowed, ultimately costing the national team a chance to advance.
