A 37-year-old man is on the run after allegedly killing his three-year-old son by striking him on the head with a hammer in Kipkosil village, Bureti sub-county, Kericho. The child was pronounced dead upon arrival at AIC Litein Hospital. According to the police report, the suspect, Victor Bii alias Rop, is said to have attacked his wife during a domestic quarrel after allegedly finding a romantic message on her phone. The wife managed to escape, leaving their son behind. The child’s body has since been moved to the AIC Litein Hospital mortuary.
