The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party leadership has now resolved to front wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to contest for the position of the speaker of the national assembly. In a meeting chaired by the Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga and attended by all elected MPs and governors elected under the Azimio coalition settled on Kalonzo on grounds that he is qualified for the position and that they have the numbers to elect him to the position. The Azimio leadership is still heading to the supreme court to contest the presidential results.
