2 children among the 8 people killed in Saturday night crash on Kisii–Kericho highway

Eight people, among them two minors under the age of two, were killed in a tragic road accident at the Bw’arani–Tombe area between Ekerenyo and Ikonge town along the Kisii–Kericho highway, Nyamira County. The Saturday night crash, involving a Nairobi-bound passenger shuttle and a trailer, occurred at around 8 p.m., leaving families devastated and several others fighting for their lives in hospital. Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo says his administration has established a special committee to coordinate immediate assistance for survivors and families of those who lost their loved ones.
