Manufacturers call for policies that will support electric mobility industry

Manufacturers in the country are calling for adoption of more policies that will support the growth of electric mobility industry in the country. Some companies have teamed up to promote use of two wheelers that use electric energy. One such company is Mayleen Kenya which has introduced electric bikes under the Stima Ride. The bikes have potential to reduce fuel costs dramatically because of the high efficiency batteries which can run to approximately 200 kilometres.
