As part of efforts to strengthen healthcare services in Kiambu County, the county government has partnered with the College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA) to provide advanced surgical training to about 80 doctors. The two-day workshop brought together local and international medical practitioners to enhance skills in modern surgical techniques, including minimally invasive procedures that rely on advanced equipment rather than open surgery.
