Capital markets Q4 review: Diaspora remittances fall as bond turnover hits KSh635 billion

    The latest capital market authority report for the final quarter of 2025 shows that year on year, the bonds turnover surged by 70.92 per cent to stand at 635.02 billion shillings compared with 371.52 billion shillings recorded in the corresponding quarter. In the period under review, the government raised 260.05 billion shillings in the primary market through the reopening of nine treasury bonds, including one saving development bond (SBD).
