1,200 goats and 200 cows were stolen in Mukogodo forest, Laikipia North

Tension remains high at Mukogodo forest in Doldol, Laikipia North constituency of Laikipia county following a raid by armed bandits who allegedly made away with over 1200 goats and 200 cows. The affected herders say the bandits are believed to have come from the neighbouring Isiolo county and faulted the government for having done too little to curb the cases of banditry in the area.
