Information, Communications and the Digital Economy Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo says there is a lot of mistrust by Kenyans that the country has no adequate mechanisms to ringfence its data. Kabogo, who was speaking in Mombasa at the close of the annual Data Privacy Conference, says the unfounded misconception is slowing down innovations and derailing the digital transformation journey.
