Tonight, we shine a spotlight on the paradox of the teachers' shortage in the country and the rising numbers of qualified and unemployed teachers. While the country's education sector faces a shortage of nearly 100 thousand teachers, over 343 thousand unemployed teachers take to the streets every day in search of jobs, as reality on the ground feels far removed from the political rallies where jobs are often promised like campaign flyers. Tonight, we follow the story of one graduate teacher who traded his chalk and lesson plans for a motorbike and helmet on the harsh Nairobi roads just to survive.
