After about four weeks of an ongoing investigation regarding allegations of negligence at Mama Lucy Kibaki hospital, the facility’s management admits that the number of nurses is not enough to serve the thousands of patients who need health care every day. The chairman of the senate health committee Jackson Mandago while citing that the hospital does not fit the level five cadre requirements, has recommended the development of a system for nurses to be employed on contract to improve service provision.
