Ford Kenya's Wafula Wakoli has been declared as winner in the Bungoma Senatorial by-election. The Ford Kenya candidate beat two of his main opponents’ Mwambu Mabonga of UDA, and Wafula Wamunyinyi of Azimio coalition party. Elsewhere, ODM Party lost in the south gem ward by election, to independent candidate Brian Ochieng.
