A Milimani high court has deferred the prosecution of Pangani-based police officer sergeant Ahmed Rashid to the 9th of February. Giving the direction, justice Kanyi Kimondo postponed the plea-taking of the case following an application by the prosecution to conduct a mental assessment examination on the accused and file a report in court. Ahmed Rashid is expected to collaborate with the investigating officers to have his mental assessment test conducted.
