Over the last few days, Nairobi has played host to Nairobi Nexus 2023, a public symposium on space science. This is a collaboration between the 100 Year starship Initiative that is marking its 10th anniversary and the Kenya Space Agency. The conference has brought together space explorers and scientists led by Dr. Mae Jemison, the first woman of colour to go to space. And as Pauline Nasimiyu reports, the conference aimed at exploring opportunities for the business of space exploration and how that can impact life on the earth.
