Tension remains high in Kinyach area, Bartabwa ward, in Baringo West after one man was killed on Sunday evening by suspected bandits. The attackers were reportedly dressed as police reservists made away with over 100 heads of cattle.
Baringo county commissioner Abdirasack Jaldesa says his officers have launched a manhunt for the attackers.
Local leaders have called on the government to take decisive action to end banditry in the area.
