The government has unveiled a one stop shop for agricultural data that will enable it to implement various farmer support services. This follows a partnership between the ministry and the Food and Agriculture organisation FAO, which lead to the designing and implementation of the Kenya Integrated Agriculture Management Information System ,KIAMIS. The ministry has already used the platform to register farmers in Nyandarua and Uasin Gishu so as to then implement the fertilizer subsidy on a pilot basis.
