Kenya National Union of Pharmaceutical Technologists (KNUPT) has threatened to pull out of the Pharmacist and poisons board for what the union terms as discrimination of its members by the board. Declining license renewal of existing premises and limited pharmaceutical technologists of limited companies are the main concerns the union has raised.
