Defence CS Aden Duale and his interior counterpart Kithure Kindiki have defended the move to deploy KDF troops to troubled regions where bandits have overpowered police. The duo said article 241 (3) b allows KDF deployment in cases of emergency. However, the lawmakers claimed banditry is ages old and cannot be an emergency.
