Maandamano: Rogue police officer unmasked as NPS remains silent over attacks against the press

The police officer captured on camera attacking journalists during yesterday’s Azimio demos in Pipeline Nairobi has been identified. It is emerging that the officer is based at Nairobi Central police station and has on the previous occasion been captured targeting Raila Odinga’s convoy. Questions emerge on the silence from the National Police service over the increase in attacks against members of the press.
