A helicopter comes through for a stranded tanker driver after six hours of staring at drowning

A middle aged man is lucky to be alive after his tanker was nearly swept away by flood water along the Galana Kulalu Cause way. The causeway is said to have been clear but suddenly flooded, pushing the truck on its side. The man was stuck for 6 hours before a rescue team from Sheldrick Trust swung into action following a distress call.
