Delays in the enactment into law of transplant bill 2007 has remain a major hindrance to hundreds of Kenyans in need of different body organs for survival. According to the deputy director general medical services at the ministry of health dr. Zainab Gura the government is working with different stakeholders to seal loopholes to organ trafficking in order to safeguard both the donor and the recipient even as they await the passage of the new law.
