Rwanda won the toss and elected to bat, setting a target of 137 runs in their 20 overs. Opening batsman Didier Ndikubwimana had a match high 43 runs with Wilson Niyitanga adding 26 runs and Oscar Mwanishimwe contributing 27 runs not out.
