The debate on the proposals on the Finance Bill 2023 continues to attract divergent views with opposition leaders vowing to shoot it down when it is tabled before parliament next week. While addressing ODM delegates in Awendo, Migori County, ODM minority Whip Opiyo Wandayi said that the bill if passed will make life unbearable for Kenyans. Wandayi says that the bill seeks to amend laws relating to various taxes and duties a move he argues will increase the cost of living and cripple businesses.
