The Nairobi County Speaker’s office is banking on four performance indicators to improve service delivery in the city. Use of public participation, gender balance in governance and incorporation of the county assembly legislative role are expected to weed out development setbacks attributed to Corruption, Violence, Political Machinations and poor leadership by previous county leadership regimes. A report by the Nairobi County Social Audit Network also indicates that the performance indicators would support approval of funding by senate and other committees for the good of the county.
