Police in Mlolongo, Machakos have arrested a woman who is alleged to be part of a child theft syndicate operating in the area linked to the theft of three children. Miriam Wesonga was arrested after a resident who had witnessed her fleeing after allegedly stealing a baby in March this year raised the alarm. The two-and-a-half-year-old baby boy was later found in Kakamega County. Miriam who allegedly confessed to be working with two other accomplices says she has been receiving 50,000 shillings for delivering a child to her clients. POLICE PROMOTIONS
