The cries of Members of County Assembly over poor pay just might have been heard by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission, after it tabled new salary proposals for MCAs. However, SRC shut the door on MCAs' request to have plenary sitting allowances reinstated. This comes as 18 county assemblies recently closed over welfare issues.
