Members of county assemblies have vowed to stay put until the salary and enumeration commission reinstates their salaries and benefits. MCA’s countrywide have vowed that they will not approve county budgets until their demands are met, threatening to paralyse operations and service delivery in the devolved units. They have also hit at deputy president Rigathi Gachagua for asking them to be content with the current pay as the government has no money to review their pay.
