Victims of torture have faulted security agencies for failing to protect them. Speaking during the commemoration of the International Day for Victims of Torture, the victims narrated their traumatic experiences at the hands of law enforcement agencies who allegedly violated their rights. The victims claim that their efforts to seek justice bore no fruit. They are now calling on the government to compensate them for the loss and pain inflicted on them. The International Medical Legal Unit is also calling for the rehabilitation of the victims.
