Normalcy returned to CBD as police patrol the streets

Relative normalcy has returned in the capital with businesses opening up today after a total shutdown on Wednesday. Business operators say they lost an unquantifiable amount of revenue and their business cannot cope with the shocks of the demonstrations. In Kawangware and Kangemi where anti-government demonstrators engaged police in running battles, there was calm with heavy police presence witnessed in the area.
