Now to a land dispute in Uasin Gishu, and legendary athlete Kipchoge Keino is embroiled in a tussle over a 196-acre piece of land in Elodret.. Kipchoge told citizen tv that his farm was allegedly invaded by the family of a man he says sold him the parcel of land back in the 1970s. The family of Kipkorom Kemboi who claims ownership of about 150 acres out of the 196 acres says their father sold only 40 acres to Kipchoge and that the matter has been active in court before a ruling was delivered three weeks ago allowing them to take over the piece of land.
