Fuel hike impacts on kerosene users across the country

For generations, kerosene has been the lifeblood of many Kenyan households. It powers the lamps that light up homes at night, and it fuels the stoves that cook the meals. For those living in informal settlements in Nairobi and some in rural areas without access to electricity, the precious commodity is a lifeline to them. But following the jump in the price of the commodity a cloud of despair has descended upon many Kenyans.
