Azimio leaders and the family of former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga are demanding for his immediate release after he was allegedly kidnapped by unknown persons on Saturday night in banana, Kiambu County. Njenga was allegedly abducted together with his aide Felix Lakishe at a friend's house minutes after arriving from his Nanyuki farm. Azimio leaders have termed his arrest as continued intimidation and harassment of opposition leaders by government. Njenga and Lakishe were expected back at Makadara Law Courts on Monday for a mention of their case.
