Members of county assemblies through their secretary general Stanley Karanja have called on the national government to assure them of their security after a Nakuru-based traffic police officer attempted to shoot Viwandani MCA, Mwangi Muraya at the county assembly premises. the officer is said to have followed Muraya to the assembly for an alleged overspeeding offence where he pulled out his gun and attempted to shoot him before he was unarmed and locked down by the assembly security officers.
