Wahome dismisses gachagua as a liar over weekend remarks in Muruka

Lands, Housing and Urban Development Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome has dismissed former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s claims that she is a weak Cabinet Secretary, saying his remarks are baseless and disrespectful. Speaking at Muruka shopping centre in Kandara, Murang’a County—her home ground—Wahome told Gachagua to keep off her affairs and stop dragging her name into his politics. She described him as “a leader full of disappointments” and vowed not to allow him to step on her lane.
