Two police posts set up in North Laikipia to combat cattle rustling

Security in North Laikipia region has been beefed up following the construction of two outposts, manned by Kenya police reservists and security teams employed by the Maiyanat conservancy. The officers at the outpost are expected to enhance patrols as part of efforts to fight cattle rustlers who take advantage of the conservancy to steal and take livestock to the neighbouring counties of Samburu and Isiolo.
