Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has gazetted a list of 36 healthcare services that are not available in Kenya, saying only those will be reimbursed under the medical scheme.and as Emily Chebet reports, even though this comes as a relief for Kenyans who have been stranded awaiting overseas treatment, the maximum limit payable for overseas procedures is kes 500,000, which is too little for a number of treatments abroad, including travel and stay.
