Banditry has affected learning in schools in West Pokot region

The government has been urged to beef up security in schools located in areas affected by perennial banditry. West Pokot Governor Prof John Lonyangapuo says some schools located along the county borders have been affected by insecurity, a situation that has seen some of them lock the doors to learners.
