Chief Justice Martha Koome has announced plans by the judiciary to introduce 24-hour duty courts to deal with emergency cases such as night and weekend arrests. speaking today during the launch of the social transformation through access to justice 10-year blueprint, CJ Koome however reiterated the need for more funding to the judiciary. The event was also graced by Prime Cabinet Secretary and CS for Foreign Affairs Musalia Mudavadi, who emphasized on the need to develop laws governing the transition of executive power after elections.
