Stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV remains an impediment in the fight against HIV/AIDS. According to the National Syndemic Diseases Control Council (NSDCC) CEO Dr.Ruth Masha stigma has contributed to the upsurge of HIV with patients shying away from accessing health care services. And as the global community marks the World Aids Day this Friday, 1st of December, stakeholders now want people living with HIV treated with dignity.
