The Kenya Union of Post-Primary Education Teachers are calling on the government to employ Junior Secondary School teachers that have been working on one year contracts. The Union has threatened to paralyze the re-opening of schools in January next year by calling for industrial action if the JSS teachers are not domiciled in secondary schools where there are better working conditions and sufficient learning equipment.
