IPOA probes the death of remandee Warui in Mombasa police cells

The independent policing oversight authority (IPOA) has made significant progress in its investigation into the mysterious death of a man at the central police station in Mombasa. The authority has begun releasing preliminary findings, even as further inquiries continue. According to IPOA, a post-mortem examination revealed that the deceased, Simon Warui, died from breathing complications caused by a broken neck.
