11 police officers arrested in Kiambu, Kisumu over robbery and theft

11 police officers have been arrested in the counties of Kiambu and Kisumu for engaging in robbery with violence incidents in the last two days. Investigators who are probing the reported cases say 3 of the 11 officers were arrested for abducting and robbing a huge sum of money from a business woman in Kiambu, while 8 were taken in custody for stealing a motor vehicle which had been detained at Maseno police station as an exhibit….the car had earlier on been reported stolen from a business man in Machakos and had been impounded along the Busia highway in Maseno.
